It was good deal to get 48hours ticket and see the whole london with open bus. They had live comentary as well as recorded. All in all it was good.
The tour is just marvalous. Very professional and experienced tour guide. Pick up from the hotel and drop off at the convenient locations usually near subway, easy to go back to the hotel.
Comfort and cleaned coach
Highly recommended.
This was the first time I had gone on a guided tour by bus like this, I usually don't like being in a big group of tourists and was concerned about having to follow a guide around everywhere instead of being able to explore. I was very happy with how this tour went though, the guide was quite knowledgable and provided all of the information on the bus as we went to each stop, then set us free upon arrival and just told us when to be back by. This was perfect, having the free time was important to me and made me feel less like a tourist being herded around. The time at each stop was just enough to enjoy it and see the important parts. I would definitely book through Sightseeing Tours London again.
I really enjoyed the audio tour, but the "live" commentator was difficult to understand. Enjoyed the boat tour as well.
We went to Stonehenge and although it was a two hour drive, it was well worth the visit. Only thing is the wind was so strong I felt I was in a typhoon when we were visiting those amazing sacred rocks! Wow! An amazing feeling being there. Only wish that there wasn't the road right next to it going by this historical monument. We had an amazing driver and felt very safe and well taken care of. Clean and new bus and all was nice and easy.
It was fun, the tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was nice to be able to see Stonehenge, Oxford and Windsor Castle all in one day, but didn't get to see anything too in depth.
Stonehenge is okay just because you are so far away, it's not as breathtaking as you'd expect. Oxford was really cool, but I do wish we could have got to go inside some of the University. Windsor Castle was interesting, and I was able to get through everything - but didn't really stop too long in any one area. Overall I'd recommend if you want just a quick sightsee of all the different areas!
My tour was completely enjoyable; the tour guide Sheila was engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
We picked up the tour bus in Trafalgar Square. My teens and I sat in the back, eating a to-go lunch we picked up in the Square before we got on the bus. The bus was comfortable, and the drive beautiful. When we arrived at Stonehenge, we had ample time to view Stonehenge along with the included audio guide (which was surprisingly entertaining). Afterwards, we perused the gift shop and then got an ice cream while we waited for the bus to be ready. Our only regret was that we did not have enough time to try and pet the sheep that were in a nearby field. ;-) The bus ride back, was again comfortable, and we were dropped back at Trafalgar Square. A wonderful day that my family will never forget.
Generally speaking was ok.the guide was mediocre.worst was: the only 30 minutes allocated visiting Oxford. especially as colleges were open to visitors (free entry), and the visit to Oxford was in fact a quick tour of the center. because I visited a college (for that is actually visited Oxford) breaking my group i had to go back to London with another bus (fortunately was one). Only 30 minutes allocated visiting Oxford??? unfortunately was not a joke..
The Stonehenge experience was AMAZING!!!
The driver gave us amazing commentary during the journey there as well as on the journey back. He even took us to Woodhenge, a place I have always wanted to see but until now, was unable to. SOOOO much worth the £29!!! AMAZING!!!!
The weather was perfect and it was just an amazing day!
We had the pleasure of James as our tour guide on our tour to Windsor Castle, Bath & Stonehenge. What we thought was going to be a long tiring day turned into a long inspiring day. James passion for England and its history was only surpassed by his knowledge of England and its history. He also gave us the heads-up on what to parts of our destinations would take more time to look at and what takes up valuable time, and where to be at, at a certain time for the most interesting parts (ie, the changing of the Guards at Windsor Castle), as we were in a tight schedule to get to all our destinations in, and with so much to look at at all our destinations, this information was most valuable. The pick-up service was fantastic, and we were able to be dropped back in the city, which was great as we could have tea in the city before heading back to our Motel. Thanks to Tim our driver for such a great day driving us around. The bus ride was smooth & comfortable, which allowed for a quick snooze between destinations.
The tour was well organized and the tour guide knowledgeable and engaging. We were blessed with great weather which added to the experience. The history of the sites visited was impressive.
We took an afternoon trip to stonehenge which was definately worth seeing and it was more than enough time there
When i rang to confirm my booking i wasnt informed the pick upspot was changed due to the paraolympic parade. This meant more tube travel and rushing. We then waited another half hr for others who were late- nice for them frustrating for us!
I would recommend this trip as value for money.
With only 3 full days in London, every minute counted. Pick up at our hotel was on-time, coaches were clean and comfortable, tour guides were pleasant and very knowledgeable. We chose two tours; Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds, the following day, Windsor Palace, Bath and Stonehenge. The tour guides shared the history of each site and some interesting stories. Everything went like clockwork, loads of great memories to go with the many pictures taken. A thoroughly enjoyable way to see places only seen in books, magazines or TV presentations. I'm ready to go back and take more tours.
Awesome experience !!
A full day tour through the enchanting Cotswolds, visiting medieval Warwick Castle, Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon and a walk through the cobbled streets of Oxford. --- You didn't tell a lie. We went there all the way from Japan hoping high. You didn't betray us. My son loves swords of medieval days and Harry Potter and magic and fantasy. He's satisfied to see the great hall that was used to film Harry Potter at Oxford. As for me, I was happy to take a picture with Henry the 8th and his famous wives at Warwick. Oxford was the most memorable place. I wish I could stay longer to go shopping. I wanted to go to Alice shop nearby.... Phill, the guide was superb. His English was clear and it's easy for persons who don't use English much like us to understand well. I skipped the thing. Z mark on the stone path of Oxford has something to do with Harry Potter who has a scar of Z on his face?
Anyway, I loved everything we saw. Cotswolds is the next place we'd like to go. I'm sure we are booking again!!
Leslie was such a knowledgeable, kind, and interesting tour guide. The entire tour today was wonderful, also thanks to the splendid weather. All was well organized and I learned so much about London in just one day! It's worth a semester of class!
Also the driver Tome did a superb job in the busy traffic. I felt so safe in his bus!
Had a really good tour to Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle, and Dover. Would have liked to have seen more of Dover, bugt had plenty of time at the other two sites. Due to the Olympics the tour pickup location changed and we did not receive notice, but lucikly the hotel we were at knew the new location and we made it in time.
Our Bath, Stonehenge and Salisbury tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was nice and very knowledgable. We had a great time and will surely recommend this company to anyone.
We were picked up early in the morning from a hotel by a courtesy bus and made our way to the main station where we all got on our individual tour. Our tour guide could speak japanese fluently which was very interesting as she was speaking in 2 languages. We got to windsor castle first, skipped through the long queues and then made it through to bath and then finally stonehenge. It was a care free trip where everything was taken care for us and it would be an ideal way to see all 3 locations!
Ideal way to cover large swaths of history and place. We visited Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle in one long, fascinating day. Carol was an outstanding tour guide - quite knowledgeable in the history and folk lore that added such richness to our trip. The coach was comfortable and on time and I thought the day represented good value. On-line registration was easy and straight forward and the confirmation call once I was in country was pleasant and efficient.
With alot of freedom, good for people who want to visit the sights in a limited amount of time
We had an experienced tour guide who spoke also fluent Spanish and an excellent coach driver. By the way, both of them were ladies. I learned la lot of interesting facts about Windsor, Oxford, Stonehenge, even London. All details were brought in about the tour, including the exact timetable . In my opinion everything was well-organized. I would recommend this company to anyone.
All went to schedule. Only difficulty was finding gate 21 at Victoria bus station. Adequate time at the three sites. Very knowledgable guide.
Awesome. So easy! Pleaseant ride, really friendly driver with excellent people skills and clearly explaining the procedures for the day. Perfect amount of time spent at Stone Henge. Thank you for making this special experience so easily available.
Enjoyed the day trip to Bath, Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge. The bus is comfortable and the driver good. The tour guide was super with lots of information with some good humor! Great scenery on the drive to Bath as well. The amount of time at the Cathedral and Stonehenge was enough for me and a taste of Bath - it is a city I would like to spend the whole day exploring after this tour. Overall a good experience that gets you to see some great countryside and popular areas in England.
The tour company was unresponsive to two separate emails over the course of a week inquiring whether it was possible to change our tour date. But my main complaint was that we just did not have enough time at the sites. Despite an 8:15 pickup from our hotel the tour didn't actually depart the depot until closer to 9:15. And at each stop, we waited for a few very delinquent passengers rather than moving on to the next stop. We ended up having approx 1hr 10 min to tour Windsor, 40 minutes to tour Stonehenge, and about 55 minutes at Oxford. I would not recommend this tour to a friend.
I went on the following two tours:
Warwick castle, Stratford & Oxford
Salisbury, Stonehenge & Bath
The tour guides were very friendly and informative. They made sure that we stuck to time without being too regimental. I am born & bred in London but learned soooo much about England on these tours! Will definitely go on another one with this company!
Poco tiempo en los sitios para visitarlos. La guia no hablaba muy bien español. Parecia el google translator. Todo deprisa y corriendo. No lo haría otra vez.
The rates charged were very reasonable. On time as per schedule.
Trip itself was convenient, however, having to make multiple stops to pick up passengers was annoying, especially considering we were never asked where we were staying and pick up from Teafalgar Square was assumed. If it was assumed for us, why not for everyone else?
My sister, my mother and I went on this trip in May 2012 and had an absolute blast. It covers three of the top things to see in England in one day so you're packing a lot of walking and information in short amount of time --but it was perfect for us! Perhaps most importantly though, you skip ALL the lines. With the ticket prices included in the trip, you really CANNOT beat that.
The tourguide was both informative AND entertaining. The driver was phenomenal; my sister and I usually get a bit car sick, especially on the narrow, winding European roads, but we had no problems! The bus is clean and comfortable. Great, great trip. Would 100% do it again.
Our tour guide is Mark. He is very good in Japanese. Provide alot information in English & Japanese. We choose to meet up at Victoria Coach Station. Location easy to find.
If you would get off a bus, it would be a long time before another bus would come along. The other bus lines would continually come by, but we waited and waited. We would not use this service again.
We had a great time in the bus tour. Unfortunately when we finished Buckingham tour we ran into a bus without asking the last stop. It was 5:15 pm and it was raining. When the driver told us that the last stop eas on Victoria and we was staying near stop 21. We got shock! He resolved us the problem! Thank you. You know who we r! Good bye from Puerto Rico. Excellent memores from your kindness!
We really had a great time. The tour guide "Sammy" was very nice and knowledgeable. I was not happy about not being able to go up in the Eiffel Tower. The reason I booked the trip with your company was on the web site it said we would go to the second level of the Eiffel Tower and have lunch. There was even a video of this. Then that did not happen. This was a once in a lifetime trip for my husband and me so we were very disappointed that this did not happen. I really don't know if I would recommend your company because of that. That was a very big part of the trip for us. I feel like your advertisement of the trip was very misleading.
The open top tour was a great way to show my grand daughter the sights of London. To do the tour justice more than one day is needed to see all the sights, to get off the bus and explore London and to also to take advantage of the free River Cruise
Trip itself was ok, but it would be nice to have some information about the landscape and history of London and surroundings on the ride to and back from Stonehenge, that would be told by the bus driver.
I thought the tour was great! I didn't know what to expect because I had never been on a one day tour. Our tour guide did an excellent job of explaining the areas we traveled to and was also humorous which made it even more fun. We were able to spend enough time at each place to take great pictures and embrace the experience. I would definitely do it again! Thank you for a great tour!!
Our driver and tour guide were extremely knowledgeable and fun. She and the bus driver knew shortcuts when the traffic was busy and could avoid traffic jams. The bus itself was very comfortable with plenty of leg room and ergonomic seats. My daughter and I took the "full day Majestic Tour" and we were not disappointed. This tour covered the most important London sites while traveling comfortably in a climate control bus. I would absolutely recommend this tour especially if your time in London is short.
