dissapointing

we placed a order at about 6pm on a sunday night, we was waiting for the order for about two hours, then just eat rang at 8.20pm to say that the food place had came but couldn't find the address so they returned to the restaurant. i feel that where we live is not a hard place to find, and we have never had this problem before. i always find theres a longer wait for the order to come, we always waited at least 1hour when we used just eat before

for future times i will call straight to the take away place, to place my order as it will be a lot quick

Pass the blame - no refunds policy

I recently placed an order through just-eat. Having waited 1.5 hours for my food to be delivered I rang the restaurant in question who took an aggresive tone and told me that Just-eat had not passed on my contact details to them. This was not true as I had in fact included my address, landline and a mobile number! However, factoring in that I had already waited 1.5 hours for my order coupled with the rude manner of the restaurant I decided to cancell the order. I then immediately rang just-eat to complain about 1) the time taken to deliver the food and 2) the aggresive tone of the restaurant and 3) the fact that the restaurant was blaming just-eat for the issue. On the phone Just-eat seemed very concerned and willing to do everything they could to help rectify the situation, however on sending them multiple emails thereafter all I have received back are responses telling me that they are sorry for my experience but that I will have to take it up with the restaurant. There emails have always been short and blunt - not addressing any specific areas such as the restaurant blaming them for the issue. Having followed up with further emails explaining that I am in fact a repeat customer I received the same response. Just-eat? More like Just-rip-off. Just eat is a company that plays pass the blame. Do not use them as its just as easy to contact the restaurant yourself.

Forever having problems

I have used these guys a few times and something always goes wrong you either have something missed off the order or it is super late and when you ask the company themselves to help or define you want a refund they take no responsibility - id stay away unless you want crap service from a crap team.

Let down by some of their outlets.

A great way to buy delivered meals with a wide range of menus in many areas. Unfortunately some of the suppliers fail to meet their offers and the customer often doesn't know until the order arrives. I will not be using them again unless they get a grip on checking that suppliers offer what they advertise and Just Eat at least attempt to resolve issues.

Easy to use..

Easy website to use. Offer a good variety of takeaways. Have deals on every now and again. Only down side is being charged for paying by card but I suppose they have to make their money somehow.

Very useful!

I've used Just-Eat a few times now, and haven't had any issues. Their website has a very comprehensive list of participating restaurants in my area, with everything clearly labelled, including any charges and delivery/collection details.
On one occasion, my Chinese was delivered without it's order of ribs, but after one quick call they were brought out to us.
I can't fault the website, or it's system, and can't fathom why some people are giving Just-Eat.co.uk a low rating, because their order was messed up by the staff at the restaurant.
Just-Eat didn't cook your food, you chose the place which you wanted to order from, blame them.

Absolutely Rubbish!

Used Milano Express through this site and received nothing but horrendous service and food! We ordered online which took about 4 minutes for the payment to go through and when we rang Milano to confirm it had been processed, they said it had come through but with no address and asked me to 'just re do it'. Obviously I said no as it hadn't occurred to them I'd be charged twice. They said they'd ring this provider to get the address. I asked if they could call me back to confirm it's the correct one as he said he wouldn't take my address over the phone; needless to say I didn't receive a call back. When I called back an hour later to see where my food was, they said he was at my door when he wasn't so they said he didn't know. About 10 minutes later, I got a call from the delivery man saying he was lost. In total, it took an hour and a half to reach us! When it got here it was stone cold and had to reheat. It all tasted awful so just chucked it! Horrific service and am angry that this site just lets any old business use it. Will NOT be using again.

It's okay

Just eat is okay if you know what food place you want to order from. But when looking for something new to eat, It is very annoying looking for food. Firstly they should include caterogries and types of food that you can find for your taste. Instead of looking around in 5-6 outlets for specific foods such as Grill food, Indian, Halal....

Simply useless. A simple process, yet completely inept.

1-Misleading information regarding restaurants capability to deliver to my area. Go direct to restaurants. Customer service is useless at just-eat for information and assistance.

2- even when 'collection only' is stated, we arrive to restaurant to find that this service is not available. Just eat confirmed a 3pm collection time.

I'm sorry to hear to hear that the restaurant were unable to deliver to you. We do allow restaurants to cancel if they feel it is to far or they are to busy. The restaurants tell Just Eat the postcodes that they deliver to, some postcodes cover a large area and although they may not deliver to you they may deliver to parts of that postcode closer to them.

We are looking to improve our search criteria and looking to include the last past of the postcode to make the delivery areas shown more accurate and to reduce the number of restaurants declining orders.

Bad when things go wrong.

Been a Just-Eat customer for several years without problem until last weekend. Order no. 21497007.
Basically the restaurant delivered totally wrong food , even that was very very poor quality. ( ordered plain chicken x2 for 2 year olds & was sent spicy chicken covered in onions ). Offer on page said spend over £25 , get a free bottle of wine ~ no wine sent.
Driver was unable to give me a contact number for his restaurant from his mobile which was strange , but got in touch only to be told they would not replace the food nor send the wine. Then had phone put down on me twice. Appalling.
Spent an Hour on Just-Eat chat & they could not get a reply from restaurant , same again sunday until finally restaurant answered & told chat they would contact me & visit me personally on monday with a free meal & bottle of wine & a personal apology for the terrible service.

That did not happen - no contact , no meal , nothing. Contacted chat again to inform them. Again they could not get a reply from the restaurant for several hours. Quote from email :-

"I have spoken to the restaurant owner for you, they have said that they are unhappy with the order you received.

I have checked on our system and spoken to the owner, this restaurant is under new management, this change happened last week. The restaurant have not as yet sent us there new menu to update on the website. They have said they are trying to stick to the menu shown on Just Eat as best they can to avoid customer complaints but as they are new owners this is sometimes not possible."
...So they let the restaurant lie & give poor service & still give no compensation. Basically a cheap bottle of wine cost me £27.

Lesson learned , after using Just-eat for almost 3 years i will not be using them again. Also i did leave a poor review for the restaurant , but it seems Just-eat have removed it. I questioned as to why it was not visible ( they could see it & stated it was on the system ) but would take 24 hours to appear. It's still not there 4 days later Just-Eat.

Just Eat Cure For Refused Orders

I have been using Just Eat for a while now and as a regular user i just wanted to share some information which i think may be useful, regarding 'refused' or 'rejected' orders.If you have not had a 'refused' order you are lucky it is very anoying when you type in the first part of your postcode,get a list of takeaways place an order and a few minutes later you get a message from the takeaway to say your order was rejected and your payment has been ring fenced by your bank and you have to wait 7 days frustrating isn't it? whats that all about? the clue to this riddle is actually on their website 'FIRST HALF OF YOUR POSTCODE' most takeaways on just eat seem to only deliver within 3 miles so after typing in the 'first half' of your postcode dont expect that the list of takeaways presented will deliver to you.To avoid the curse of the 'refused' order and wasting your time use online maps to check if you are within 3 miles of that takeaway.Some takeaways will deliver over 3 miles i have even recieved an order from a takeaway over 3 miles away and a week later it was 'refused' !! i have even had a call from just eat to say that the takeaway can deliver if i pay extra for the mileage i dont mind paying a bit extra to ensure my order is not 'refused' and that i get the food i want and to save time i now include some comments for the takeaway 'dont reject this order i will pay an extra £1 per mile upto a maximum £3 cash to your driver if i live over 3 miles away' i have found this to be the most efficient and hassle free way of ordering ..hope this helps

Unreliable and therefore useless

I'd used just-eat a few times without problem so Saturday night, with guests round decided to order a curry. Order was placed and accepted at 20.10 and the delivery time given was 21.15 - fair enough. 21.30 and no sign of our food so I contacted the restaurant who claimed no knowledge of my order despite the accepted status of it (confirmed when I received an email later that evening). No offer to hurry us some food round so I was left with hungry guests and no food - deeply embarassing.
Contacted just-eat via the chat service. Took a while to get back to me and then only said they'd give me my money back - no compensation and (still) no food. I said i wanted compensation so they said I'd have to email which I did.
Just-eat got back to me to say that the restaurant had accepted the order but there had been a printing error. Apparently the machine would have been beeping so they should have known and contacted just-eat. I've no idea whether it was just-eat's fault or the restaurant - but it sure as hell wasn't mine! Still no offer of compensation.
My conclusion - the service has to work 100% of the time or else it's useless. It does not work 100% of the time. I'd recommend just using it as a menu viewing service - don't order through them unless you're prepared to go hungry on occasion.

Unethical Practices & Dismissive Customer Service

just-eat.co.uk is an online takeaway delivery aggregator. With thousands of takeaway outlets on their books, they aim to provide a central point to order local services online. The site contains Indian, Chinese, pizza, Thai, and more. Sounds ideal, right?

You’d think so. At least, until you examine how the site actually works. It’s actually closer to an online gambling site; so if you like risking your money on a bet, this is the site for you. Here’s how it works:

1.You choose a restaurant and select your order.
2.You enter your debit or credit card details.
3.The website places a 10-day “hold” on your funds.
4.This is the fun part: the website THEN contacts the restaurant to see if they’ll accept your order. Of our two attempts, both orders were refused with a message “Restaurant too busy”.
5.If you’re lucky, you get a meal. If you’re unlucky, your order is rejected and your funds are “on hold” (inaccessible to you) for up to 10 working days – or two weeks of real time.
6.You can bet again on another restaurant if you have more funds available, but of course you’re making the same gamble. Our attempts resulted in the full value of TWO complete orders being “on hold” for two weeks, with no sign of a meal.
The fun continues when you attempt to complain about this situation. Not only are you advised that this is the only possible way to handle such transactions (anyone familiar with online payment systems knows that this is not a true statement), you are pretty much served with a “tough luck – that’s what you agreed to” response.

We carefully scrutinised the site’s terms and conditions, and at the time of publication there was no such condition present. Whether or not such a condition gets added, there are seriously moral and ethical issues with such a major aspect of the service being buried in small print.

We’ll also note that, despite claims by the company that they are “merely” putting a hold on your funds (as though that makes a difference to you), the follow up email you get later directly contradicts this. It refers to an actual refund: “Unfortunately, they can’t carry out deliveries at the moment. If you paid by card, you will be issued with a refund.” So someone’s telling porky pies at some point – either the customer service folks or the system email they designed.

For added laughs, they’ll then taunt you with a “How was your meal?” email. We can only assume at this point that we’re dealing with a highly sophisticated process designed to anger you as much as possible in some sort of cruel social experiment. They may as well have sent “Feeling hungry? Hah! We have your money, and you have no dinner! Ha ha!”

Additionally, we were advised – on the telephone at the time – that “the screen shows that the restaurant is closed” and were encouraged to “refresh the page” to see this update. Of course, we didn’t, because doing so would obviously show an amended closing time which was NOT there at the time of ordering; instead, our suspicions heightened, we immediately took a screenshot of what we could see.

We were later advised that “we have over 10,000 restaurants, so we can’t check they’re open”. Really? “We’re far too successful to monitor our own processes” is an excuse now? Wouldn’t it be great if, say, [link] adopted this policy: we’re far too successful and sell far too many iphones to check if they all work, so if yours doesn’t: tough luck! Here’s a tip: if you’re so wonderfully successful that you have so many restaurants on your books, use some of that money to put adequate processes in place. Yes, it costs some of your clearly large profits from the exhorbitant success you’re boasting about, but that’s what keeps you from being an unethical business and getting dire reviews like this.

A quick review of their Facebook page reveals a plethora of different complaints, from meals arriving hours late or not at all to payment issues.

Worst of all, the terms and conditions pretty much, summarized, say: “We’ll take your payment. We accept no responsibility for anything. If anything goes wrong, you have to take it up with the restaurant directly.” In addition, the terms contain prohibitions on your disparaging or criticising the company publicly, and threatens to ban you from using the site if you do. Freedom of speech is not high in their list of priorities, and neither are customer complaints.

Our advice, then? Unless you enjoy a flutter and receiving condescending, dismissive emails – phone the restaurant directly. Don’t trust your dinner and your bank account to an online gambling site, which is the best description we can think of to describe just-eat.co.uk. The moral, ethical, and legal landmines involved with doing business with this site are best left to consumer protection advocates, not the general public.

Because our complaints are ongoing with this company, we will edit this review with updates. This far, our issues are being dismissed offhandedly.

UPDATE: After an extended email conversation with “[name]” at just-eat.co.uk, the company has indicated clearly that it does not consider unethical business practices to be a serious issue, and that it has no intention of addressing these problems. Please be advised that this is their official position before you consider risking your hard-earned money with them. You enter your payment details at your own risk; we strongly urge you not to risk it.

We’re not sure which of two possibilities is more worrying. The company has made it abundantly clear by telephone and email that it does not care about these ethical issues. Either just-eat.co.uk doesn’t understand why this business model is unethical (which is a horrifying thought) or it does understand that it’s unethical and simply doesn’t care. Both possibilities are extremely worrying, but we’ll have to leave it to you to figure out which of the two it is.

Terrible & Expensive, go direct to the shop!

Their order times are not reliable, even the take away we ordered from announce the level of difficulties with Just Eat, their support took 15 minutes to reply. Ended up picking the food up ourselves in the rain which is why we wanted it delievered in the first place. 50p to use a debit card, £1.00 for delievery. Which was not refunded as they announced:

"unfortunately we cannot refund you the delivery charge as you would have to had taken this up with the restaurant"

Really not worth it, more hassle than they are worth.

You can order stuff and have it delivered conveniently. It can't hurt to call the take-away about 3 minutes after you place the order to make sure they actually have it in their hands though

Fast becoming a family jewel.

I have just recently been introduced to this site and have to say it is wonderful. Being outside the town centre I thought that take-away home delivery outlets we non-existent. My daughter suggested trying Just-eat and after putting in the postcode we found about 17 home delivery food outlets of various nationalities cuisine. Used the service and had a great meal, with good portions, great taste, delivered hot by a very nice young man and 15 minutes earlier than expected. Would use the site and the restaurant again without hesitation.

Simple to Use and Convenient

I have used this website on and off for 6 months now and I got to say I'm disappointed at the 'unfair' criticism just-eat has got. I would like to say all bar 1 time I have had a flawless service the only time I had issues was me pushing my luck trying to use a Take away in a different town.

The only problem I have found is the quality of some food but that isn't just-eats issue. The site is really easy to use and when some websites couldn't find my property on the Postcode locator Just-eat did. The only niggle is the 0.50p card charge but i don't mind paying it for the convenience of the thing.

Easier to go direct

Tonight my order was rejected. The takeaway had delivered last week but said it was too far this week. Apparently they have the right to reject orders even if they are listed under your postcode. This means placing and paying for an order in full before you even know they will accept your order. Now I have to wait 4 days for my refund to clear back into my account. Not the first time I've had a rejection and had to wait to get my money back. They take your money without knowing if they can provide the service and their answer is that the contract is between the takeaway and the customer. Also charge admin fees for debit cards which do not incur fees and allow the takeaways to refuse to rectify complaints if you make one. Quite honestly you are better off building a good relationship with your local takeaway direct. Not really sure what the point of JUST EAT is other than it is an easy way to see a menu.

I'm sorry to hear your order was rejected and that the overall experience was a bad one. The reason the takeaways have the option to reject orders which are too far is because currently our system works based on the first half of the postcode. Some areas have postcodes which can stretch over 10 miles. Takeaways however can cover some areas within these postcodes which they have chosen to cover however not all areas. We are aware that this is an issue and are currently working on making the postcode system more accurate. The CEO has also responded to this question in a Q&A for customers late last year. In regards to the payment, whenever you use your card to make a payment your bank will place a reserve on the funds they have guaranteed, they will hold them in reserve until the transaction is completed, cancelled or expires.

If an order is rejected the transaction is then cancelled, unfortunately it can take up to 7 working days for the reserve on the funds to be lifted depending on the banks processes.

Quite possibly the worst customer service ever. I would strongly recommend not using this company.

After ordering a meal for me, my partner and our daughter on Sunday evening, we were advised a delivery time of 9.00, it arrived 9.35 pm, I can accept that, there can be delays. However, what I can not accept is for a full order to be wrong, an order containing ingredients specifically requested NOT to be in due to an allergy. A meal deal was also ordered, that arrived with no chips, garlic mushrooms were ordered, we got chilli mushrooms (again inedible due to allergy) lilt requested, 7 up provided, chicken wings ordered, what i got was 4 pieces of chicken in oil soaked batter, in a pool of oil. As soon as we opened the meal and noticed NONE of it was edible, I went on to live help with Just eat, where i waited for 27 mins, before trying again, eventually I got speaking to a "customer service member" (please note, I use that term loosely) I asked her what the procedure was to complain about food etc, she replied "just email this email address info@just-eat.co.uk and we will deal with the matter for you" *paraphrase*. I did so, heard nothing back until 2 the next day, where another staff member said she tried the shop, but they were closed and her colleague would try later. I got an email from (coincidentally enough) Deneice, who said the shop weren't willing to refund as I didn't contact them the previous night, well I didn't, on the advise of Deneice, so emails went back and forth and Deniece proceeded to say it was my fault as i didn't contact the shop, despite her telling me not to, and to contact just eat directly??? she has since ignored my emails, even after I asked how to make a complaint about the service received from just eat. I now realise why she asked me to "email my complaint", it was 15 minutes before the end of her shift on a public holiday weekend, didn't want kept behind. I have copies of all chats, emails, even photos of the "food", and more importantly the requests that weren't followed which nearly caused a serious allergic reaction. I doubt anyone from Just eat will see this, never mind reply. I will not be letting this matter lie, as stated before ALL correspondence has been kept, along with pictures of the food. These are currently getting made into a (non-libellous) blog, which shall not only be posted to my facebook account, but to my several thousand followers on twitters, many of whom will retweet the link on my behalf. That is only my first course of action, i am also looking into (despite the relatively small amount) the legal ramifications/validity of the "contract" between myself and just eat, and the validity of their T&C's. I shall keep you posted on any updates, if any, I receive from just eat, and will also post a link to the blog, please feel free to comment and pass on.

Awful site to order from

I'm trying to order on a Monday evening around 7PM-ish. I login with my details as I used this site before, and put my postcode in, the list of restaurants show up, I select one upon checking that they deliver to my postcode... I spend some time looking at the extensive menu, and make my selections... I proceed to pay... this site now charges £0.50 to pay by card, which is a joke. I select the pay by cash option, and click the button to put the order through... A few seconds later, my order is rejected because it was "too far to travel". I thought what a joke! The site had my postcode AND I checked the restaurant delivery area, and they deliver to my postcode, and charge 1.50 for that, which I was happy to pay... This is now 30 minutes through the ordering process... I open their webchat, and speak to someone called Aisha, who says that she is sorry about it, and explains if there is anything else they can do for me. I said "why not give me a voucher, a small discount for the trouble of having to order on another takeaway?", she said that she wouldn't do that, so I said thanks and will never order from just-eat again, after having used this site since 2008, because they became greedy and they run their operations without any sort of care or respect for their customers. Avoid Just-Eat, it's a favour you're doing yourself.

Ridiculous service - happy to take your money but NOT take responsibility

We placed an order at 6pm for one of Just-Eats restaurants, requesting an order time of 7.15pm. This was for our family of 5. The order was "accepted" according to their website.

At 7pm Just-Eat phone to say that tonight the restaurant is too busy to accept our order. However, it will take between 5 and 7 days for our refund to be processed back into our bank account.

The Email which they subsequently sent saying there had been a "glitch" signs off with the words "Happy Eating"! What am I supposed to be eating happily? You sent no food!

Subsequent Emails just repeatedly say how it is everyone else's fault except theirs, the restaurant's fault for not delivering, the bansk fault for delaying the refund.

Ridiculous service. Do not use Just-Eat.co.uk

I'm sorry to hear that the restaurant wasn't able to complete your order for you because they were too busy. Unfortunately this can happen from time to time as many of the restaurants have orders coming from other sources.

Whenever you use your card to make a payment your bank will place a reserve on the funds they have guaranteed, they will hold them in reserve until the transaction is completed, cancelled or expires.

If an order is rejected the transaction is cancelled, unfortunately it can take up to 7 working days for the reserve on the funds to be lifted depending on the banks processes, I do apologise for this and any inconvenience caused to you.

Good, if all goes well but nightmare if it doesn't!

I have used just-eat uk for over a years and until Friday would have left a very good review. However, on Friday night ordered a take away. I got to the verified by visa stage, all went through but I didn't get an confirmation so called the take away to check they had my order. They hadn't so I ordered again. This time all went through as normal ref 20224903 arrived but no take away showed up. Rang take away again to be told they didn't get either order through. Checked with my bank and both times the money had left my account. The take away didn't want to know so ended up with no food and paid twice. Used just-eat on line chat to try find out what is going on, sat for over an hour and no one picked up my question. Sent emails, all have been ignored and when I tried to call them it said they were now shut. At 9.30pm on a friday night? Tried to call them again today and can't get through. Very poor service and not sure how to go about getting my money back!

Brilliant idea, easy to use website, incredibly useful

All your local takeaways (well those smart enough to sign up to just-eat) all in one place, and the ability to have them deliver to your door with a few clicks, simply brilliant, such a good website for anyone needing a take-away. Only downside is that not every take-away will sign up, some will charge extra delivery costs and some won't deliver at all, but all of these are clearly stated on the website and this has nothing to do with just-eats ability anyway that is an issue with the individual take-aways.

Remove a bad review before I can get a refund!!

I received an incorrect order and was over-charged for the item. After speaking to the restuarant and getting fobbed off I decided to complain to Just Eat.
I used the Live Chat only to be told I needed to email, so my first question is: why have Live chat in the first place if they can't deal with things like incorrect orders etc?
So I sent an email, stating the problem and the issues I had, the email I got back said that they would call the restuarant and let me know the outcome. 3 days 2 emails and 1 Live Chat conversation later I received an email from Just Eat.
This email stated that to enable me to get a partial refund for being over charged and being sent the wrong order I had to remove my review for this particular restuarant from the Just Eat website!! I have to say this shocked me as I couldn't believe that Just Eat woud condone this as I thought they were supposed to be unbiased. How are other customers supposed to know the true ratings/reviews of a restuarant if they allow this behaviour.
So as far as I can see. if I have a complaint and deserve a refund the only way I can actually get it is by removing a truthful review and allowing people to possibly end ip having the same kind of experience I did.
Nice job Just Eat, nice to know your unbiased... NOT!

Just to add to this review... As requested by James from Just Eat I sent him an email with all the details and as of yet I still haven't received a reply! Is this another example of a company that offers shoddy customer service? I am beginning to believe so... I would love to be proved wrong......

Our rating/review system is there to allow customers to review feedback on restaurants before placing an order, when a review is placed we do give the restaurant the opportunity to respond and to try to resolve the situation with the customer. Just Eat do not advise customers to remove reviews and will not remove a review unless the customer has requested this or we believe it to be fake or offensive.

Stay well clear!!

Before using this service I suggest you take the time to peruse their outrageous terms and conditions. Essentially they contain all the disclaimers necessary for Just Eat to do you out of your money.

The prices are incorrect, but it's not Just Eats problem! They are apparently not responsible for ensuring that prices are correct. Furthermore, incorrect prices do not entitle you to a refund.

The communication between the website and the user is at best extremely poor and you're never sure whether or not your order has been placed. You WILL end up calling the restaurant directly, which if you had done in the first place you would have received a better service and the correct prices.

Overall, I would not only not recommend this service to anyone, I would actually go so far as to advise AGAINST it. It got one star because I could not give it any lower. It is a legal scam.

All of the restaurants on the website are independent businesses and it is their responsibility to inform us of any price changes relating to their menus. If we are informed by a customer that the prices are incorrect we will contact the restaurant to confirm this and make the necessary changes.

Same old Same old.

My order had been accepted, waited two hours for the food, got a phone call saying they couldnt get in contact with the restraunt, and so my order had been cancelled. Apparently I was getting a refund... still havent got the money back, and would like to know why orders are being accepted even though you hadnt got through to the restaraunt yet?! Poorly organised site, be easier ringing up places yourself.

Great idea, well presented.

I have been using Just-Eat for over a year now, it was always tedious ringing up a takeaway to verbally place an order, which allows for human error on either end, especially with accents.

Just-Eat though is a really well done website and service, which lets you place an order over the internet easily, giving the takeaway all of the information they need to make your food and deliver it without needing to speak to anyone, there is no language barrier when using Just-Eat. It is kept simple, and works.

The only downside is if in your area, your local takeaways don't sign onto Just-Eat, in which case your options may be very limited, however, I live in a small town and I have a choice of 17 takeaways that deliver to me through Just-Eat.

Food never arrived, can not get my refund!!!

Order no. 19249704 placed on 5 of march 2012. After two hours of waiting for a food I did contact them on a live chat. The lady on the other side(Lusanah) said that she can not get in touch with the restaurant and my money will be refunded in a 5-7 working days.
After that time I have not received refund. Another chat with JustEat (Fatjona) - the same story - she did apologize and promised she will take care of this and will pass it to the admin department. She said:
-I can see the (previous) convesation and can see that there was a refund authorized. I do apologize for the delays.
After another 12 days - Still waiting for a refund!!!
UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
I will never use them again!!!

Try getting a refund!

What a shocking service! Ordered food on the 10/03/12. Awful food delivered, complained to the restaurant, refund agreed... 5 emails, 3 phone calls to just-eat and still no refund as agreed! Now they have offered a voucher for the amount spent, why would you want to use this service again when it's that hard to get your money back! The struggle continues... 26/03/12
