I have used this site several times now and each time the service has been spot on. The price difference on some new release products isn't that different but its great for items that have been discontinued or maybe older stock. I got my Mum's favourite perfume for £20 for 100ml that £30 of a difference since the last time I bought it simply because the high street stores no longer stock it. Major saving and major brownie points for me, win, win ha!
Also brilliant for buying my holiday toiletries, I just wait til I need to stock up and order it all in the one go because it's so easy.
Wednesday 21st March 2012 – emailed FragranceDirect (FD) to ask whether they had 2 bottles of Cartier Eau de Parfum in stock for immediate despatch for a present.
Thursday 22nd March 2012 – FD replied “This item is in stock, for a next day delivery your order must be placed before 2pm.”
Friday 23rd March 2012 ordered perfume at 10am:
2 x Cartier Must de Cartier Perfume Spray 30ml (£89.99 each) = £179.98
Next day delivery = £7.99
TOTAL - £187.97
Saturday 24th March 2012 – perfume is delivered to my girlfriend. In the box are 2 Cartier perfumes. One is sealed in the box, the other is opened, unboxed, covered in fingerprints and has been used many times!! FD have now removed the item from their website.
Make no mistake I will get my money back from this disgraceful company.
You should also note that the contact address they provide is just empty serviced offices. There is no-one there.

As a review I would say the service they provide is complete rubbish and fraudulent. You have been warned.

Cheap but worth it?
of December 7 ordered a consignment of gifts for Christmas, unfortunately, until today it did not receive, after many phones for customer service stated that the shipment was lost somewhere, so no gifts, I was very disappointed, unfortunately customer service phone only works, do not respond to emails, with the second order was packed me a different product than I ordered, even have no loyalty program for customers. When you order you are uncertain whether you will get if you get what is in the middle appears only when unpack.
I have used this company twice. Both times I found that the items were dispatched very quickly and were exactly as I expected.
Excellent service.ordered product with standard delivery (2-5 working days) but it arrived the next day. Prompt delivery an excellent value.would highly recommend site.
After shopping with Fragrance Direct for a few years now i have never had any problem whatsoever with their service. They have always been very helpful and friendly.
My parcels always arrive in excellent condition and packed really well. Their prices are very good compared to the high street prices.

I am absolutely disgusted by the way this company treats their customers. I ordered an item on the 15th december as a christmas present for my partner, by christmas day it hadent arrived and just after christmas i called the company to see where it was...they said they can only offer a refund or replacement after 15 days. 15 days had been and gone and i called them to see where my product was, they asked would i like a replacement or refund, and as it was a christmas present i asked for a replacement. They said my product would be with me within the next 3 working days...A week pretty much flew and suprise suprise my product still hadent arrived.
I then called the company and they said that they hadent even sent it out to me and said i had to confirm an email on what i wanted. I was not happy as they didnt tell me i had to do this the first time. I confirmed the email...waited AGAIN and then i receieved an email stating that the product was the last product available and wasnt fit for sale. What sort of company is this? They shouldnt even be a company.
I have phoned this company and emailed them various times and they just pretty much laugh at you and wont offer any compensation what so ever. I thengot the 'managers' email, and i dont know how he can call himself a manager, he replied 1 week later!!!! I am absolutely appauled by them and i can guarentee i will not be buying from them again.
I've found Fragrancedirect a disappointing experience. I've placed two orders and won't be placing another. The first in December was for three products totaling £85 and I paid for next-day-delivery. It took almost a week to arrive and only after I kept chasing by telephone. They admitted they hadn't despatched and have repeatedly promised a refund of the premium for next-day-delivery but haven't honored it.
I thought maybe I was just unlucky, so placed another next-day-delivery last week, this time totaling £140. The order status keeps showing 'released for despatch'. I called them up to be told, yet again, they haven't posted it. This time I got a stroppy assistant who claimed it was my fault as the order automatically went to 'tracked' and I should have re-entered my request for next day delivery. I'm not sure how that explains why they still haven't posted it utilising any method!
I'll be giving CheapSmells a try for future orders.
Jeg har handlet på siden flere gange og man finder parfumer til meget billigere priser end her i DK. Leveringstiden er er som lovet. Har ikke oplevet problemer med siden. Men jeg bruger ikke siden alene jeg søger lidt og tjekker hvem der er billigst inden jeg handler, fordi nogle af de kendte mærker som Dior, Channel og armani er ikke helt så billige på dennne side, og det er ikke altid man finder den parfume man vil have.
Unfortunately I had to return the product due to a minor problem with packaging, however Fragrance Direct were very helpful and apologetic when returning the product. Very friendly and customer services is great! Thanks!! :D
The items I have ordered arrived to Greece on schedule (7-10 working days) in perfect condition and in decent packaging. The prices are much lower than within local market.
I have used this company several times and it is excellent. Superb value for money and really fast delivery. As for customer service - I emailed them to say that the swivel on a lipstick I had received was faulty, and asked how to go about returning it and obtaining a replacement. They emailed me back to state that a replacement was in the post. They didn't want the faulty one back and didn't charge postage. Couldn't ask for better customer service

I bought a perfume and when it arrived it looked a completely different colour to the photo and how I'd seen it before in the shop. It was an unsightly brown colour instead of bright blue, so I assumed it had gone off or was imitation. When I wrote to customer services (perfectly politely thanking them for a prompt service) they simply fobbed me off with how it must be something wrong with my pixels on my computer!!! If I wanted a refund I could but I'd have to pay for postage. No apology no interest in looking into the matter further. Written in a manner quite shocking, considering this guy has a career in customer service. And rather upsetting for me as I had bought it as a gift and did not set out to upset anyone simply to have someone listen, apologise and see what the issue with the product was. I have never complained before but this has got to me so much I feel compelled to tell others. AVOID. Especially if you object to being addressed as Sir/Madam. I signed off with my name. I work in customer service and this company deserves to suffer after this blatant disregard for their customers satisfaction. I can imagine this [name removed] thinks his customers are morons.
The customer service simply doesn't refund shipping costs. My package never arrived and I got a refund mail just a few days later, however the shipping costs had been deducted - that is - for a package that I had never seen. I think this is terrible service and the practice may potentially be used systematically by the company as a money making scheme.
i ordered the content of my 'bag' on wednesday, the thursday i recieved a SMS saying that my order had been dispatched, and it arrived on friday (i used standard delievey at £1.99, really impressed!) the make up i ordered was fully packaged with celophane and wasnt atall damaged. The sprays i ordered were also not damaged or been used. and i ordered two bottles of perfumes whih came with original lids and boxes however the boxes were slightly damaged, but that was expected. Also, i was abit cautious as to whether the perfume would have been weakened in order for the company to make more money, but they had the same strength as the perfume i got given for christmas. I ordered a fragrance for my wife's birthday. I hadn't realised there are 2 versions. Anyway I ordered the wrong one. This was 8pm one evening. Having noticed my mistake I emailed them to change it and pay the difference. I informed them of my phone number as well. I didn't receive a reply until 3.30 the next day to tell me it was too late. A few minutes later I then received another email to tell me it had been dispatched. I tried to call them to ask why it had taken them until the late afternoon to get back to me and then immediately tell me it had been dispatched. A well managed company would check the emails and act accordingly with plenty of time to amend the order.
They're crap.
perfume arrived without any cellophane seals and looked like some had been used when i complained via email twice both went ignored, they sell make up without seals as well which is wholly unacceptable and second rate, you cant complain in email as they just delete it.
Fantastic service.
Order my gift yesterday and it arrived today and that was standard post.

I bought a perfume really cheap and the delivery was very cheap as well - and fast! I live in Denmark and it took less than a week. Can only recommend this place!
This site was just great it had a couple of fragrances that I liked but could no longer get locally, and they deliver what more could one ask as they already offer low prices.

1st: As Customer Service Manager you should know that communications have to be sent to customers in the proper time and COMPLETELY, specifying ALL the information the user has to know and comprehensive reasons to understand the decisions made. Why did you send me a letter telling me an incomplete replacement order had been sent and, after a while, another one telling me the reason why? Is it my fault you have failed to provide proper, complete and in time information? Why do you blame me for being rude when you have not done your job? Do you know how to do it properly?
2nd: After having said in proper and perfectly understandable English I did not want a money refund, why did you send me (or any other person from the info account) a mail telling me exactly the contrary? Have you checked that the information management in these cases have been properly conducted? So, why do you blame once again for being rude when you have given me all the reasons to be angry with you?
3rd: Do not tell me who is abusive now. You, as provider of a service, always have to keep the courtesy and manners and me, as the customer, I am in the right to DEMAND whatever I want to after 21 long days waiting for products and after receiving a very disappointing service.
4th: Frankly, you have demonstrated, at this very moment why any customer should not buy from your page. Not only you lost the temper but you did not have the humility to recognise your mistakes through the process and make the most of a negative situation.

Can't fault this site. Ordered recently a Christmas present (plus and a few times in the past) and orders arrive quickly. Shame they didn't have all the perfumes I needed as my experiences of ordering perfume online from elsewhere has been poor.
I have ordered many times, packages are always in Finland in less than two weeks and the products are in great condition.
I ordered Eurphoria 30ml spray from this company on 10 Dec using the Fragrance Direct web site and paid with my credit card. This spray retailed at £30 in Boots but was substantailly cheaper with FD at £26.94. The price included standard delivery via Royal Mail.
I received the order on 15 Dec, unfortuantely they had sent XS for men, unhappy I immediately phoned Fragrance Direct and spoke with a [name removed] on customer support. Firstly, I wasn't offered an apology, but told to return the item for a replacement. It was only after I queried postage cost returns was I offered a refund of my postage, I also mentioned as it was now close to Christmas as a goodwill gesture if the item could be sent by next day delivery with FD covering the charges for this. This was also agreed, I then reiterated what had been discussed by a follow up email. The call had been made from my workplace and as I work in call centre, this had automatically been recorded.
I then received an email from [name removed] on customer support denying any agreement of next day delivery as Royal Mail (she claimed) had suspended this service prior to my placing my order. I checked with Royal Mail (both on their site and direct through my local sorting office) and Royal Mail informed me this service was still available but they simply were not guaranteeing next day delivery by 1pm due to adverse weather conditions. I live in the same county as Fragrance Direct.
My advice is to be wary of Fragrance Direct, on a plus they offer cheaper fragrances but customer support was lacking when needed. Retuns procedure was poor, advice wasn't forthcoming and delivery information was not consistent with Royal Mail. I did, however receive a refund for my postage costs in returning the incorrect item and the correct fragrance arrived Christmas eve.

They know they have to issue a refund but would leave me out of pocket rather than deal with it at the last moment. If you want reliability and honesty then dont' use frangrancedirect.com
I ordered two items from Fragrance Direct 2 weeks ago. They were Xmas presents. The delivery took a week to arrive and, when it did, one of the items delivered was "Foot Bath Salts" and not the Estee Lauder perfume I had ordered. A lquick ook on their website confirmed that the foots salts were priced up at £2.40. The perfume, on the other hand, was £19.99. I phoned them and e-mailed to let them know of the error. The response to the e-mail was "send the foot salts back" - nothing further to suggest I would receive the item I actually ordered or a refund. When I rang them I was told it was "company policy" not to refund or send out the item I had actually ordered until the offending item had been returned. As you can imagine, I was not happy with this response - the mistake was theirs, not mine - but I was being penalised for it. OK, so they don't trust you to be entirely honest with them - but I can assure you, I did receive foot salts and I WAS NOT HAPPY! They don't trust me, I don't trust them. I sent the shabby salts back - that was 5 days ago and they are still replying to my e-mails stating that "The item has not yet arrived in their warehouse". 5 days to receive a First Class parcel? OK, so it's a week before Christmas but, really, does a parcel posted First Class take that long to arrive? I DON'T THINK SO. It goes without saying that I have had a VERY POOR SERVICE and have, I feel, been treated appallingly. The perfume was a gift - I have had to go and buy elsewhere because I shall NOT be shopping with Fragrance Direct ever again. I wish I had never heard of them. I can't give a star rating - because to give one star, IMPLIES that you are fairly happy with the service you've received. I am appalled at their service and their customer service in particular - when I was asked for the reference number I was told to quote on all correspondence with them, they still could not trace my order! SHODDY, SCAMMERS IS ALL I CAN SAY. I shall be reporting my experience to Trading Standards.

Vær dog opmærksom på, at når man skal skrive ens leveringsadresse, at hvis ens hus ikke har et navn, så SKAL man altså udfylde denne linje alligevel. Jeg udfyldt med to .. jeg modtog herefter en mail, da de ikke kunne forstå det. Jeg forklarede, at i Danmark har alle bygninger ikke et navn, bare en adresse, så var der herefter ingen problemer.

Have been using Frangrance Direct for a few years now. It's my first stop for birthday and xmas pressie browsing. The bargains you can find are very good and the service.... I don't have one complaint. Highly recommended.
I just had my 2x50 ml. EDT delivered yesterday. Great price and low P&P cost. Fragrancedirect.co.uk offers a vast selection and great prices! Compared to a Danish webshop you save 50% on both the goods and the freight. I have no doubts what so ever: Clearly five stars!

I was scammed into believing a product was something other than it was. I was offered a new product, since the original product was sold out. It the same description but smaller with no picture refrence. I went to ship it back to them for a refund but since perfume is considered a dangerous product because of the alcohol, I cant ship it back without FDA approval.
No return, no refund. I received a product, so I cant dispute the charge.
The person who contacted me by email, started to ignore my requests from the very start requesting a refund and a box to ship it to them
Guess what!? I received a product, they will 'accept' my return, so while its still in my hands, I cant dispute the charge!
My first order with this company was quite large (okay it was huge) so it was delayed for a few days whilst they checked it was legitimate, as soon as that was done it was at my door the next day.
The quality of the goods is excellent and the service is superb.
I have used them since and will be using them again, the items on there are such value for money and the gift ideas can really help when you stuck for that last minute present.
Bought some perfume here for my wife and delivery was very quick. Excellent packaging and price was better than I'd seen anywhere else!
